Massachusetts' governor says the massive¹ winter storm may have brought his state its highest high tide on record. The storm caused widespread coastal² flooding in Massachusetts and it dropped up to eighteen inches of snow from Maine to the Carolinas.

Nearly five thousand flights were cancelled during the storm according to FlightAware. New York's JFK airport, closed on Thursday, is set to reopen on Friday.

North and South Korea plan to talk next week about cooperation during the upcoming Winter Olympics in South Korea. It's their first formal dialogue in more than two years. US-South Korean military exercises are delayed until after the games.

The controversial new book that paints the derogatory picture of President Trump³ comes out on Friday. The President says Fire and Fury⁴ is full of lies, misrepresentations and nonexistent sources.
