Hundreds of thousands of federal workers are expected back on the job on Tuesday with the government open for business. Republicans promised democrats¹ that the Senate will soon address the plight² of young immigrant DACA recipients³.

Vice⁴ President Mike Pence went to Jordan where he defended President Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital. The move has drawn⁵ protests from Palestinians and Arab leaders.

Pennsylvania's supreme⁶ court ruled the state's congressional districts violate the state's constitution with boundaries drawn to help Republicans win. The court gave legislators until February 9th to draw a new map.

And Bill Cosby performed at a Philadelphia Jazz club. He got a warm welcome from the crowd and did not discuss his upcoming sexual assault retrial.
