New Zealand authorities say dozens of people were killed in shootings in 2 mosques¹. Four people were arrested after the mass shootings in the city of Christchurch.

The Israeli military says it struck about 100 Hamas targets in the Gaza strip. The airstrikes against the militant² group come after a rocket fired from Gaza reached Tel Aviv.

A dozen Senate Republicans joined Democrats³ to vote against President Trump's emergency declaration. The President said he'll veto the measure so he can build the wall on the Mexican border.

And severe storms and a possible tornado⁴ left a trail of destruction in northern Alabama. Heavy damage was reported in at least two counties north of Birmingham.
