Over three hundred years ago the ship Mayflower sailed into Massachusetts Bay. On board were the Pilgrims, who had come from England to make homes in the New World. 三百多年前，五月花号船驶入马萨诸塞湾。船上载满从英国来新大陆安家的朝圣者。

They landed in the middle of the winter, and before spring most of them died of hunger and cold. 他们登陆时正值隆冬，在春天到来前，大部分人都因为饥寒交迫而死去。
