 “Mamma, will you go to town?” “妈妈，您要去镇上吗？”

“What do you ask for a ticket on your train?” “你们上车时要什么票呢？”

“Oh! we will give you a ticket, mamma.” “噢，我们给您拿车票，妈妈。”

“About what time will you get back?” “你们大约几点回来？”

“At half past eight.” “八点半。”

“Ah! that is after bedtime¹. Is this the fast train?” “哎呀，那过了睡觉时间。你们坐的是快车吗？”
