小狐外传 第13期:视力

 　　Some of them could¹ not see very well.

　　他们中的有些人视力不是很好。

　　"I can't understand it," said² one old dog.

　　“我不懂，” 一只老狗说，

　　Fox is always on duty³ here.

　　小狐一直在这里值勤呀。

　　"The traffic⁴ is so heavy today," said another.

　　“今天的车好多啊，” 另一只说道。

　　"We will just have to cross the street alone," said the first old dog.

　　“我们只好自己过马路了，” 先前那只老狗说。

　　There is nothing else to do.

　　除此之外没有别的办法了。

　　So all the old dogs stepped⁵ off⁶ the sidewalk⁷.

　　于是所有的狗走下人行道。

　　"No!" cried Fox. "Not that!" And he woke⁸ right up.

　　“不！” 小狐喊道，“不要那样！” 他惊醒过来。

　　He did⁹ not wait for Dexter and Carmen.
