　　The China Centre plays host to the Contemporary China Studies Programme (CCSP) and provides office space to the academics associated with the programme.

　　With a generous grant from the Leverhulme Trust, CCSP was commenced in 2002.

　　BICC is a joint⁴ venture among Oxford, Bristol and Manchester Universities.

　　It was founded in 2006 with a grant of ￡5 million from the Higher Education Funding Council for England, the Economic and Social Research Council, as well as the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
