The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has strongly condemned1 an attack on a UN building in Afghanistan. At least 14 people died, among them seven UN staff, when demonstrators stormed and torched the facility in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif. Police said some people were shot, others stabbed, and two were beheaded. The UN Under Secretary General for Peacekeeping Alain Le Roy gave more details of what happened.
