　　Banks will loan you money if you can prove you don't need it.

　　Bank accounts give a person a good feeling until they realize that banks are insured by an agency of a federal government that's over $2 trillion in debt.

　　Banks have a very interesting philosophy. You give them your money to keep--and if you try to borrow it back, they want to know if you're good for it!

　　2. have confidence in

　　信任；信赖；

　　eg. I have every confidence in you.

　　3. how come

　　（用于因为惊讶而询问）怎么会这样呢，为什么；

　　eg. How come he hasn't been able to be as good this year?

　　为什么他今年表现不及往常呢？

　　eg. How come he got the job?

　　怎么他会得到这个职位呢？

　　4. turn down

　　拒绝（某人或其请求、提议等）；

　　eg. I thanked him for the offer but turned it down.

　　我谢绝了他的提议。

　　eg. She turned down every offer of help.

　　别人提出的帮助他她都拒绝了。

1 insufficient   

adj.(for，of)不足的，不够的

参考例句：

• There was insufficient evidence to convict him.没有足够证据给他定罪。
• In their day scientific knowledge was insufficient to settle the matter.在他们的时代，科学知识还不能足以解决这些问题。

2 dignified   

a.可敬的，高贵的

参考例句：

• Throughout his trial he maintained a dignified silence. 在整个审讯过程中，他始终沉默以保持尊严。

3 tellers
