Apple users who prioritize their data security desperately¹ need to download last month's update for the iPhone. It turns out that users who employed proxies² to protect their internet browsing³ actually made themselves more vulnerable to the worst possible kind of attack: hackers⁴ accessing users' personal passwords.

Proxies are like an extra security measure that some political dissidents, journalists, and other security-sensitive people sometimes use to shield their browsing from any kind of hackers, either from the government or private parties.
