According to CNN on Wednesday, Pope Francis added his voice to those criticizing the Trump¹ administration zero tolerance² policy that's resulted in the separation of families at the Mexican border.

据美国有线电视新闻网周三报道，教皇方济各也加入了批评特朗普政府“零容忍”政策的队伍，称这种政策导致墨西哥边境的家庭分离。

Francis said that he supported the statements made by U.S. Catholic Bishops³ who called the separation of children from their parents immoral⁴ and contrary to our Catholic values.

方济各说，他支持美国天主教主教发表的声明，他们称把孩子和父母分开是不道德的，是违背天主教价值观的。

In an interview with Reuters, Francis said "I am on the side of the Bishops' Conference. It's not easy, but populism is not the solution."
