The future economic development in China is indeed a hot topic at the Boao forum. Business leaders and economists both at home and abroad have weighed in on China's economic development.
"In the 11th five-year plan period, investment growth was 25.5 percent per year, the figure stood at 17.7 percent during the twelfth five-year. It dropped to only 12 percent last year, so the current problem cannot simply be blamed on over-loaded Chinese investment, we must understand the figures," Economist Justin Yifu Lin said.
"We think the future for China's economy remains strong...we have great confidence in the future in China specifically," President of Amway Doug Devos said.
"I think the Chinese economy...don't see a hard landing. I hope the rest of the world gonna come up and contribute to growth also in the future," Chairman of Ericsson Leif Hohansson said.
