CCTV9英语新闻：Man arrested in connection to 2011 Mumbai blasts

Mumbai's Anti-Terrorist Squad has arrested a suspect in connection with the 2011 serial blasts in the city, which killed 27 people and injured 120.

 

The man has been named as Zain ul Abedin. He was arrested at the city airport on Tuesday morning, and later appeared in court. Abedin is suspected of being an active member of the terrorist group Indian Mujahideen. Investigators believe he has supplied explosives to the militant outfit.

 

His arrest is expected to give a boost to the ongoing investigation into the 3 blasts that hit the country's financial capital in 2011.
