Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang says the dialogue enables the two big countries with different social systems, history, and culture to build trust, reduce miscalculations, and promote economic cooperation. 

 

Meanwhile, US Secretary of State John Kerry has stressed the dialogue's importance in bridging the difference between the two nations. 

 

"Dialogue not only helps us manage differences, more importantly, it has promoted cooperation. In the past 8 years, US exports to other countries grew by 12.9 percent. But its exports to China grew by 63.7 percent. Last year, for the first time China became the US largest trading partner," said Wang Yang.

 

"This dialogue can help up to fulfil our responsibility through a candid and search additional area of cooperation," said John Kerry.
