Imagine picking up the phone and having a virtual¹ face-to-face conversation with a long-dead relative or someone famous. Now technology can make that possible. I wanted every great-great grandchild of someone living today to be able to get to know that relative in a completely different way than they would have ever been able to do. An app created by the company Storyfile will soon be available for users to record answers to questions about their lives and save it for future generations. The person that I would trust the most with my life completely, 100 percent, would be my husband. Anyone with access to this account can then have a conversation of sorts with a person who recorded these answers. Who would you trust with your life?

From these cameras to your smartphone, interactive life histories can help connect the present to the past in a more personal way.
