A Futuristic Tool Helps Viewers Access Black History

This mural honors two leaders of the Black Panther Party, the revolutionary group founded here in Oakland, California over a half century ago.Thats pretty cool. The painting by Timothy B makes a strong statement, but point a smartphone at the wall, and it literally¹ speaks.

McDuffie is a writer and historian who says he wants to make history more accessible. He used downtime during the pandemic to teach himself AR and create a free app for others to use.
