 　　Well, I am confident that it will look much, much better我相信 它会变得越来越好

　　but if you will humor this old sailor for just a moment请大家再耐心听我这个老水兵给你们讲讲

　　I have a few suggestions that may help you on your way to a better world对于迈向未来更加美好的世界 我对你们有一些建议And while these lessons were learned during my time in the military这些经验都是我从部队时光中总结出来的

　　I can assure you that it matters not whether you ever served a day in uniform不过我可以保证 这些同样适用于部队外的生活It matters not your gender, your ethnic or religious background无论性别 种族 宗教信仰

　　your orientation, or your social status

　　取向和社会地位

　　Our struggles in this world are similar

　　所有人在这个世界的奋斗都是类似的

　　and the lessons to overcome those struggles and to move forward克服阻碍并继续往前的经验也都是类似的

　　changing ourselves and changing the world around us will apply equally to all我们需要改变自我 改变周遭世界 这对任何人都一样I have been a Navy SEAL for 36 years

　　But it all began when I left UT

　　for basic SEAL training in Coronado, California进行基础海豹训练的那一刻开始

　　Basic SEAL training is six months

　　基础海豹训练为期六个月

　　of long torturous runs in the soft sand

　　midnight swims in the cold water off San Diego午夜在圣地亚哥岸边冰冷的海水里游泳

　　obstacles courses, unending calisthenics

　　who can lead in an environment of constant stress, chaos, failure and hardships那些能够克服持续压力 混乱 失败和艰苦的学员To me basic SEAL training was a life time of challenges crammed into six months在我看来 基础海豹训练是将一生的挑战都塞到了六个月内So, here are the ten lesson's I learned from basic SEAL training以下是我从基础海豹训练中获得的十点经验
