　　如果你想改变世界

　　sometimes you have to slide down the obstacle head first有时你就需要像这样冒险

　　During the land warfare¹ phase of training在训练的陆战阶段

　　the students are flown out to San Clemente Island which lies off the coast of San Diego学员们被派往圣地亚哥海岸不远的圣克利门蒂岛The waters off San Clemente are a breeding ground for the great white sharks圣克利门蒂岛是大白鲨生活的温床

　　To pass SEAL training there are a series of long swims that must be completed在海豹训练中 我们有一系列长距离游泳需要完成One is the night swim

　　Before the swim the instructors² joyfully³ brief the students on all the species of sharks游泳之前 教官会眉飞色舞地给学员介绍

　　that inhabit the waters off San Clemente

　　They assure you, however that no student has ever been eaten by a shark at least not that they can remember不过教官会安慰你说 至少在他们的记忆中 没有学员被鲨鱼吃掉过But, you are also taught that if a shark begins to circle your position stand your ground. Do not swim away教官还会告诉你 如果有鲨鱼在你旁边绕圈 你需要保持位置 不要尝试游走Do not act afraid

　　不要展示出胆怯

　　And if the shark, hungry for a midnight snack, darts towards you假如在午夜 一只饥饿的鲨鱼向你扑过来

　　then summons up all your strength and punch him in the snout你就该使出全身力气 朝它的鼻子奋力一击

　　and he will turn and swim away

　　它受到攻击自然就会逃走

　　There are a lot of sharks in the world

　　世界上有很多鲨鱼

　　If you hope to complete the swim you will have to deal with them如果你要完成游泳 战胜它们就是必须的

　　If you want to change the world, don't back down from the sharks如果你想改变世界 就不要被鲨鱼吓退

　　As Navy SEALs one of our jobs is to conduct underwater attacks against enemy shipping作为海豹突击队成员 我们的一项任务便是 在水下对敌军船只进行攻击We practiced this technique extensively during training训练中 我们经常训练这一技术
