 　　Pakistan on Thursday welcomed an offer by United States Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump¹ to ease tensions with nuclear-armed rival India over ongoing² unrest in Kashmir.

　　In an interview with Indian newspaper Hindustan Times last week, Trump said he would be pleased to be a mediator³ between Pakistan and India.
