 This is a 21-year-old Palestinian woman undergoing hymenoplasty.  这是一个21岁的巴勒斯坦女性，她正在接受处女膜修复手术。

Hymenoplasty is a surgical¹ procedure which restores the virginal state,  处女膜成形术是一项用来恢复处女之身的手术，

allowing her to adhere to certain cultural expectations regarding virginity and marriage.  这使她能够满足特定的贞洁观和婚姻观的要求。
