A Sydney man is in custody¹ after allegedly working as a black-market agent to sell missile components² and coal for North Korea. Officers say 59-year-old, Chan Han Choi, was arrested and charged in Eastwood, in Sydney. It's the first time a person in Australia had been charged with brokering³ sales and discussing the supply of weapons of mass destruction.

Melbourne lord mayor Robert Doyle has stood down pending⁴ an independent investigation⁵ into claims of sexual harassment⁶, indecent assault and misconduct. Mr Doyle says he's taking a months leave while an independent external investigation is conducted into what he's described as unspecified claims against him.
