A Guangdong Province program aimed at upgrading the manufacturing hub's industries is set to move more robots on to the assembly line.

Last month, the government said that companies involved in the production of automobiles¹, motorcycles, home appliances, electronics, construction materials and clothing will receive subsidies² to purchase robots over the next three years.

上个月政府表示称在未来三年内，生产电话、摩托车、家电、电子产品、建筑材料以及服装企业都能够获得“机器换人”补贴。

An official with the province's economic and information commission said the government program will cover 10 to 20 percent of a company's industrial robotics upgrades.
