A source tells FOX he didn't know what him… U.S. Special Forces and an FBI agent capturing Ahmed Abu Khattala.

Khattala is a senior leader of Ansar al-Sharia, the terror group U.S. officials have blamed for the 2012 attack at the U.S. Consulate¹ that killed four Americans including Ambassador Chris Stevens. Khattala is the first suspect of that attack arrested by the U.S.

The Pentagon confirming the operation occurred Sunday near Benghazi. The suspect is en route to the U.S., sources say, where he will face trial.
