Israel says its called up another 16,000 reservists to join the fight against Hamas in Gaza to reportedly give a break soldiers already on the ground. But the Israeli military won't rule out broadening¹ of the offensive².

This comes a day after some of the worst violence in the three-week conflict, with the Israeli strike on the UN school and a crowded marketplace.

More than 1,300 Palestinians and 50 Israelis have died so far.
