一般现在时

一般现在时主要表示：

1.经常发生或反复发生的动作

Dad gets up at seven. 爸爸七点起床。

Mom works⁴ eight hours a day. 妈妈一天工作八个小时。

I go to school every day. 我每天都去上学。

2.现在的情况或状态

They like eating. 他们爱吃。

Danny is a pupil. 丹丹是小学生。

Thank you, I don't need it. 谢谢，我不需要。

3.永恒的真理

The sun rises in the east. 太阳从东方升起。

It snows in winter. 冬天下雪。

但是在口语中，一般现在时也可以表示按计划、规定或时间表要发生的事，会有一个表示未来时间的状语。例如：

The plane takes off at 9:00 a.m. 飞机早上九点起飞。

They arise⁵ here tomorrow morning. 他们明天早上到。

When does the film begin? 电影几点开始？

My father is in his office from two to five this afternoon. 我父亲今天下午两点到五点在他办公室。

在一般现在时中，如果主语是第三人称单数（he/she/it），谓语动词后需加s或者es。如：
