Senator Lindsey Graham announced Thursday he plans to introduce a resolution condemning¹ the Democratic-controlled House for pursuing its impeachment² inquiry³. The nonbinding resolution gives Senate Republicans a chance to show support for President Trump⁴ as the impeachment probe gathers momentum⁵.

The body of the late representative Elijah Cummings arrived at the U.S. Capitol Thursday. Members of Cummings' family were joined by lawmakers as his casket was carried up the steps of the Capitol. The public will have a chance to pay thier respects. A wake and funeral are planned Friday in Baltimore.

A museum dedicated⁶ to all things slime will soon open in New York city. Visitors can walk through a sticky lake and sink thier hands in huge bowls of slime. The idea, it's backers say, is simple: to spread joy.
