特朗普要求公布告密者身份
This is AP News Minute.
President Donald Trump1 demanding the identity of the whistleblower who raised alarms about his dealings with Ukraine. Trump sounding off Sunday on the White House lawn as an attorney for the whistleblower said his client is willing to answer written questions submitted by House republicans.
Attorney Mark Zaid saying the goal is to keep his client's identity private - tweeting "being a whistleblower is not a partisan2 job, nor is impeachment3 the objective."
Former President Jimmy Carter was back at church Sunday delivering a Bible lesson in his hometown of Plains, Georgia. It's less than two weeks after Carter was hospitalized for breaking his pelvis in a fall. After telling a story about his cancer diagnosis4, Carter said he has “complete confidence" in his belief in life after death.
And a bizarre sight in the Philadelphia skyline Sunday morning - a gusher5 of water streaming from the side of a 61-story skyscraper6. The deluge7 soaked the sidewalk below. It almost looked like a rainstorm. The blog Billy Penn says it happened for about five minutes before coming to an abrupt8 halt. Officials in Philly said they don't know what caused it. And no response from building's management.
