Russia on Tuesday became the first country to clear a coronavirus vaccine¹, declaring it ready for use despite international skepticism due to the small sample it was trialed on. President Vladimir Putin said the vaccine underwent the necessary tests and is safe. He said even one of his own daughters has already been inoculated².
