I am a Mayflower. Silently, I look up into the east, a flush of pink in the morning.

我是一朵五月开的花。清晨，我默默地仰望东方，一片亮丽的粉红。

Quietly, my sun is coming. You disper darkness and humidity of night, diffuse¹ the warmth and brightness, glittering with glare. I blush with shyness when his eyes blink towards me. I tell my entire compliment to him when he hugs me, "You are my credible² and recipient³ friend. I do adore you!"

静静地，我的太阳微笑着来了，驱走了夜的黑暗和潮湿，带着温暖和光明，闪耀着夺目的光芒。他如水般醇亮的眼睛映红了我的脸庞，我尽情地诉说对他的赞美：“你是我最可靠和亲密的朋友。我非常喜爱你！”

I expand my overlapped⁴ petals⁵ slowly in his arms, my pistil abounds⁶ with perfume. My sun repays me with more warmth.I can't help muttering, "Your warmth is my most love!"

在他的怀抱里，我慢慢地绽开着花瓣，花蕊缓缓地释放着我的芳香。我的太阳以更温暖的爱回报我。我情不自禁地呢喃，你的怀抱是我最流连的地方。

When pilgrims stop singing the chant in a distant chapel⁷, the clouds swallow the last rosy⁸ sunshine in the west. I contemplate⁹ all around. The luminous¹⁰ moon slowly rises in the night sky. A drop of dew is scrambling¹¹ up on my stalk, gleaming with ivory. I still stay solo the whole night silently.

当远处教堂里朝圣者的赞歌声停下来的时候，云儿收拢起西天的最后一道霞光。我环顾四周，明亮的月亮在夜空中缓缓升起。一颗露珠沿着我的茎向上爬，在月光下闪烁着洁白微弱的光芒。我孤独地停泊在夜的中央。

In the bleak¹² night, I couldn't bear seeing the sun leave. I'm very grieved and sentimental¹³, and want to ask him when he should come back again!

在凄冷的夜晚，我不忍看到他的离开，伤感的我想问问他何时再来！

My sun comes back to the paradise where the melody is from. How I wish to dance with its rhythm for him...But the arrogant¹⁴ clouds are so jealous of my fragrant¹⁵ petals that they dispatch the mad wind and stern rain to disrupt my dream.

我的太阳回到仙宫神宇，天堂里鼓乐声声，笛音绕梁。我多想随着它的节奏，为我的太阳轻舒长袖，曼舞腰身....可是傲慢的云朵嫉妒我美丽的花瓣，驱使一阵疾风骤雨打断了我的梦。

In the howling wind and the lashing¹⁶ raindrops, the muddys swamp is around me. I can't seek any place to dodge¹⁷. My frail¹⁸ (fragile) petals almost lose all their sensation, only to sigh for their scars. My chest is drowning in rain, but no one could discern me, no one could have pity on me, and no one could hear my groans¹⁹ in the desolate²⁰ night.

在呼啸的风中，在猛烈的雨中，我的周围变成了泥泞的沼泽。没有任何躲避的地方，我脆弱的花瓣几乎完全失去了知觉，默默地叹息。我的身体被淹没在雨水中，但无人觉察到，无人怜悯我，无人能听到我的呻吟。

After the rain and wind, I try to repair my remnant petals. My lofty sun would come back tomorrow. He could never enjoy my transient aesthetic²¹ petals yesterday once more. I sigh sickly, "Could I retrieve²² your love again?"

风雨过后，我努力修复残存的花瓣。我的太阳明天再来，他将再也不会欣赏到我昨日短暂的美丽。我无精打采地叹息道：“爱能重返吗？”

Early in the morning, when I revive from the dream, my sun has come back again. He nods at me, hugs me, consoles me with warm shine, and tells me graciously, "My angel, you are beautiful forever in my heart..." He makes me rejoice and I'm dazzled by his bless, which is like elevating symphony to me.

I am a Mayflower. The wind in June reconciles my sadness and the rain in July caresses²³ my dream. In August, I turn to a green fruit with your gorgeous shine. In September, the mature fruit you see is the gift of the flower in May.
