小狐演戏

One Saturday morning Fox and his friends were just lying around.

一个星期六的早上小狐和朋友们无聊的躺在家里。

"What a sad little group," said Mom. "Why don't you do something?"

“多么忧郁的小团体，”妈妈说，“你们怎么不去做点什么？”

"The television is broken," said Fox.

“电视机坏了，”小狐说。

"Oh, that is terrible!" said Mom.

“哦，那真糟糕！”妈妈说。

Then Fox had one of his ideas.

小狐想出了一个点子。

"Let's put on a play!" he said. "We can charge¹ everyone a dime²."

“我们排演戏剧吧！”他说，“然后卖10分钱一张票。”

"We'll get rich!" said Dexter.

“我们要发财啦！”德克斯特说。

"I'll buy a new car," said Carmen.

“我要买辆新车，”卡门说。

And they went to the library.
