 　　Avery noticed the spider web¹, and, coming closer, he saw Charlotte. "Hey, look at that big spider!" he said. "It's tremenjus."

　　艾弗里注意到蜘蛛网，走近一点，他看到了夏洛。“嘿，看那大蜘蛛！”他说，“大极了。”

　　"Leave it alone!" commanded Fern. "You've got a frog - isn't that enough?"

　　“别碰它！”弗恩吩咐说，“你已经有青蛙了——还不够吗？”

　　"That's a fine spider and I'm going to capture² it," said Avery. He took the cover off the candy box. Then he picked up a stick.

　　“这是只呱呱叫的蜘蛛，我要捉到它。”艾弗里说。他打开糖果盒盖。接着他折了一根树枝。

　　"I'm going to knock that ol' spider into this box," he said. Wilbur's heart almost stopped when he saw what was going on.

　　“我要把那老蜘蛛敲到盒子里。”他说。威尔伯一见这情景，心都停止跳动了。

　　This might be the end of Charlotte if the boy succeeded in catching³ her. "You stop it, Avery!" cried Fern.
