A: Alice, meet/this is my friend David!

B: Hello! Nice to meet you, David!

A: Hello! You must be Mary. (Are you Mary) I'm David.

B: That's it! Glad to meet you here.

A: Cathy, here is my boyfriend Jerry.

B: Good to see you!

B: Oh, really? That's a very promising² job.
