A: Do you know who that tall man is?

A：你知道那个高个子男人是谁吗？

B: Which one? The one sitting next to Nancy?

B：哪一个？是那个坐在南希旁边的人吗？

A: No. the one closer to the speaker's platform¹.

A：不是.是那个靠近讲台的那个人。

B: You mean the one wearing glasses?

B：你指的是那个戴眼镜的人吗？

A: That's right.

A：就是他。

B: Oh，he is our new director². And he is the stay-at-home type.

B：哦，他是我们的新主任。他属于宅男型。

A: Where's he from, do you know?

A：你知道他从哪儿来吗？

B: Sorry，I don't know anything more about him.

B：抱歉，我只知道这么多。

A: This is really a wonderful party.

A：这次聚会真棒。

B: I think so, too. We have many good friends here today.

B：我也这么觉得。今天来了许多好朋友。

A: Well, there are many new faces to me. Could you tell me something about them?

A：不过，这儿有许多人我不认识。你能给我介绍一下吗？

B: OK, do you see that woman in the pink shirt?

B：好的，你看到那个穿粉红衬衣的女士了吗？

A: Yeah.

A：看到了。

B: That's Diane. She's the one who's moving to China next week. The party is for her.

B：她叫戴安娜，她下个星期要去中国，这个聚会就是为她举行的。

A: OK. and who is the guy?

A：哦，那个男的是谁？

B: Which one?

B：哪一个？

A: The one in the green chair?
