　　A:Excuse me. Could you tell me how to find a book quickly?

　　A：打扰一下，你能告诉我怎样才能快速地找到一本书吗？

　　B:Sure. (Pointing at the computer)It will help you. The library's online catalogue¹ provides all books' information.

　　B：当然。（指着电脑）这个就能帮助你。图书馆的网上目录提供了所有书藉的信息。

　　A:If I don't know the title of the book, could I find it?

　　A：如果我不知道书的确切名字，也能找到吗？

　　B:Of course. You just enter a certain topic you want and then it will give you a list materials fitting² under that category.

　　B：当然可以。你只需要输入你想找的某一个主题内容，然后电脑就会列出一系列符合主题的材料。

　　A:I want a novel by Hemingway, but I am not sure about the title. Could you show me how to locate it?

　　A：我想找一本海明威的小说，可记不清名字了。能告诉我怎么查吗？

　　B:First,find the words "Search Command" on the screen. Letter A stands for author,T for title, S for subject,K for keywords and C for call number. You could useuAdoption, enter "Hemingway", and then press 44 enterLook! All information about it will be displayed on the screen. That's it.

　　B：首先，找到屏幕上的“搜索指令”。字母A代表作者，T是标题，S是主题，K是关键词，而C是索书号。你可以使用“A”选项，输入“海明威”，再点击“进入”。看！所有的相关信息都列出来了。就这么简单。
