Medical Researchers at the University of North Carolina at Chapel¹ Hill found that obesity² may negatively impact the effectiveness of the influenza³ vaccine⁴. The study showed that obese⁵ adults in the United States who get the flu vaccine are twice as likely to get the flu compared to healthy weight individuals.
