Earlier this week Reuters reported that Congress has agreed to a deal allowing Chinese telecommunications giant ZTE, to resume U.S. operations in exchange for some major concessions¹.

The company will have to pay a large fine, place U.S. compliance² officers at the company, and make changes to its management.

On Friday, Trump³ tweeted that he let the company resume operations "with high level security guarantees, change of management and board, must purchase U.S. parts and pay a $1.3 Billion fine."
