听歌学英语:当死神如此靠近你 Thirty People Away

Tamas Wells，是一支来自澳洲墨尔本的独立乐团(indie-pop)，成立于2000年初，目前已发行4张专辑，曲风清新、平缓而又优美。（最为人所熟知的是《Valder Fields》-电影《仙境之桥》当中的插曲)，Tamas Wells作为一个歌者的姿态正如他这个人一般谦逊。他在歌曲中不泛滥悲伤，也不过度去渲染喜悦，他一直如巡演的状态一样，简单地站在台上，穿着平常穿的衣服，自在并且不带很多感情诱导的哼唱。人类的情感和这个世界一样并非那么简单，正如世界不全如Tamas Wells的歌声一般美好，他温暖治愈的歌声下，其实有着很多很多个悲伤的故事。若不是看了他的专访，我也不知道这个唱片的名字背后那么哀伤。

when the flames came out

their faces dark from the flames
the news had read out the names

we had laughed about the days
when I wouldn't say the fourth of May
and sometimes we told stories
where movies stars were old
and made up to seem like they were only seventeen
and then we'd spend a dollar for the frames

Thirty People Away》亲眼目睹30多个人在身边死去，多么可怕多么骇人听闻的故事！说他是个乐观主义者，是因为那么悲伤的题材如果交给其他同类型的歌手去演绎，这或许会变成特别伤感和催人泪下的歌；但到了Tamas Wells的口中，如此悲伤的题材，我们竟可以在这天籁般的声音中感觉到治愈的力量——仿佛他说忘掉这一些悲伤吧，在我的歌声中重获力量勇敢去面对这个世界，勇敢去和现实战斗。
