Victorians are being warned smoke will continue to affect air quality across the state, despite rain and cooler weather helping¹ ease the immediate² fire threat in bushfire zones. There are 21 fires burning across Victoria, with one emergency warning in place for communities near Mount Hotham, in the North East. The state government will lift the state of disaster order from midnight, as milder conditions are forecast for the next 10 days.
