On ESPN, defending champion Joey "Jaws¹" Chestnut² downing 72 dogs in 10 minutes, cheered on by thousands as he topped his own world record from last year: 70 hot dogs.

Steak: 4.5 pounds plus sides in just under nine minutes and deep fried asparagus: Nearly 13 pounds in 10 minutes at other competitions.
