Dialogue1 

A: Mr Davis,thank you for coming in today on such short notice,have a seat.I'll get started right away.Your resume² says you completed overseas.

B:Yes, i went to school in England at cambrige,i finished my degree in marketing³ and started an intership in an advertising⁴ industry after graduation, focusing on marketing research.

A:So what experience do you have?

B:i have experience in marketing and advertising , i worked in both entry level and ?positions. All together about ten years experience in the worlplace,in the last place i worked,i was director of marketing department.

A: I can see that from your resume. Your last position was marketing director for a menu factoring company.Is that right?

B:Yes, that's correct.

A: I see,now what are your salary expectations?

B: Based on my qualifications and experience , i expect at least 80 dollars a year.

Dialogue 2

A: Hello,can i help you ?

B: Hi, there,my name is Court Jangson. May i please have your name?

A:I'm Ebkill Parker. I am the receptionist Tiere markem Company,ltd,what can i do for you?

B:MIss Parker, it's real pleasure to meet you.I was hoping you could help, but something.I'd like to talk to someone in your personnel⁵ department or someone who can help me apply for a position with your company.

A:I'm sorry, we are currently⁶ not hiring for any positions.i'll be happy to take a copy of your resume for our files.But that's the most i can do.

B:Oh, thank you ,i really appreciate that,i understand you might not be hiring right now.But could you please tell me the name of the person who handles hiring.

A:Certainly, the hiring pro⁷ says is the mostly handle buyer personnel department.The secretary for the department is Tari Cannedi. Here is the phonenumber.

B:Great.I'm guessing the Miss Cannedi isn't the one who makes the decision about hiring.Who is the director of the department.

A:The personnel director is Joan Jikbeis,he is usually very busy.So the best way to reach him,it still through his secretary Miss Cannadi.

B:Of course,now even though there may not be an available position right at the moment.I was wondering if i could have a chance to introduce myself to Mr Joan.So that when a job opening comes up,it will be all the more convenient.Do you think it might be possibke to set up an appointment to meet with Mr joan very briefly⁸.

A:I can see if that might be arranged.Please wait a moment.
