One of Apple's partner banks revealed on Chinese social media that Apple Pay will launch in China on Thursday, February 18.

A chatbot for the China Guangfa Bank disclosed the date on an official account on WeChat.

广发银行在其微信官方账号中宣布了这一消息。

Apple announced in December that its electronic payment system would come to China in "early 2016," and the country's Apple website lists 19 banks as partners.

早在去年12月，苹果就已宣布Apple Pay将于明年初登陆中国，并公布了19家合作银行。

China will now become the fifth country to receive Apple Pay, after the United States, Canada, the UK and Australia.

中国将成为全球第5个支持Apple Pay国家，其它分别为美国、加拿大、英国以及澳大利亚。
