Disney has announced the cancellation¹ of sandbox video game, "Disney Infinity²" this week.

stated the decision is due to "lack of growth in the toys-to-life market, coupled with high development costs".

Mr. Pitaro said "This was a difficult decision that we did not take lightly given the quality of Disney Infinity and its many passionate⁶ fans." in a statement to the press.
