Australia's ambassador to the US Joe Hockey has met with two of Donald Trump¹'s top advisors² at the White House to calm the furore over the Nauru-Manus Island refugee deal. The agreement has become a flashpoint in diplomatic relations between Australia and the US, with government sources confirming Mr Trump blasted Mr Turnbull during a weekend phone call.
