The Duke of Edinburgh is retiring from his royal duties in September this year. Buckingham Palace says Prince Philip made the decision with the Queen's full support. The 95 year old will attend previous scheduled engagements between now and August. The shock announcement followed a special royal meeting in London.

Disability service providers are demanding urgent improvements to the National Disability Insurance Scheme. The sector⁵ believes speed is being prioritised over quality in the planning process and that's resulting in people missing out on vital equipment. More than 60 thousand people are on the NDIS following rapid growth late last year.
