　　tigers that carry their cubs⁴ in a pouch⁵, terrible walking lizards⁶ with scythes⁷ for claws. 把幼兽装在袋子里的老虎，还有走来走去、有镰刀般的爪子的恐怖蜥蜴。

　　On the day I am speaking of, the first sword was newly dead, and the Sealord sent for me. “我说的那天，前任首席剑士刚刚去世，海王便传我过去，只因按照布拉佛斯的传统必须立刻选择继承人。
