 　　In the morning Ford¹ films the first Japanese attack which devastated² the American base.

　　福特在清晨拍到日本第一波攻击摧毁了美国的基地The Japanese bomb explodes, are too close to the film makers³ seriously wounding Ford一枚日军炸弹在福特附近爆炸，让他身受重伤

　　Ford would later recall a marine's saying:

　　"My God, I bombed that close."

　　He would also recall: "Marines with me that were kids from 18 to 22"他还说:“和我在一起的陆军战队员都只是18到22岁的小伙子”

　　They are barely out of college.

　　They pose for Jhon Ford's camera man and then take off to attack Japanese fleet.

　　One of its pilots, 25-year-old lieutenant⁶ George Gay nose down over the Japanese fleet.

　　At that very moment another squad of the US bombers⁸ flies over the Japanese ships就在那一刻，另一组美军轰炸机中队飞过日本船舰and incredible stroke of luck they sink four Japanese aircraft carriers.

1 Ford
