 　　Full many a glorious morning have I seen 多少个明媚辉煌的清晨，我看见

　　Flatter the mountain-tops with sovereign eye, 威严的朝阳把四射光芒洒满山巅，

　　Kissing with golden face the meadows green, 它那金色的脸儿贴紧碧绿的草原，

　　Gilding¹ pale streams with heavenly alchemy; 用上界的炼金术使惨淡的溪水璀璨。

　　Anon permit the basest clouds to ride With ugly rack on his celestial² face, 然而倏忽间，忍对片片乌云，黑沉沉横过它那庄严的面影，

　　And from the forlorn world his visage hide, 使遗弃的下界难睹其尊容，

　　Stealing unseen to west with this disgrace: 它于是蒙羞戴耻暗沉下碧霄九重。
