《乐队的夏天》，摇滚乐的春天

Rock music is inspiring and powerful. Typical band members wear cool clothes. They play the guitar, sing, jump and shout.

This summer, iQIYI streaming service started The Big Band, a show for independent Chinese rock bands to bring their niche¹ type of music into the mainstream².

Thirty-one bands took part in the show. After nearly three months of competition, New Pants, a band that formed in 1996, was named the top band on Aug 10.

共有31个乐队参加了这档节目。8月10日，历经近3个月的角逐，成立于1996年的乐队“新裤子”夺冠。

The program's hashtag has been viewed 370 million times on Sina Weibo since it came out in May, according to the Global Times.

据《环球时报》报道，自今年5月播出以来，该节目在新浪微博上的话题已有3.7亿浏览量。

It shows that the rock culture was well received by the viewers.

Ou Yang, who plays bass³ guitar for The Face, said the power of rock music still remains⁴ with artists,
