【英音模仿秀】阿里巴巴赴美上市

 Perhaps, we shouldn't be too surprised by news that China is on the brink¹ of breaking yet another world record. It's already the world's most populous² country. It has some of the world's largest cities. And then this week, Alibaba Group, China's equivalent of the online retailer³ Amazon, announced it would sell its shares on the New York stock market, in what is said to be the biggest ever initial public offering in American history.

也许对于中国即将打破又一个世界纪录的新闻，我们不应当表现的太惊讶。它已经是世界上人口最多的国家了，拥有全球最大的几座城市。本周，阿里巴巴集团，相当于美国的网上零售商亚马逊，宣布将在纽约股票市场出售股票。
