Most Americans think refusing to stand for the national anthem¹ is disrespectful to the country, the military and the American flag. But most also disapprove² of President Trump³'s calling for the firing of NFL players who refuse to stand in the Associated Press/NORC Survey.

大部分美国人认为播放国歌时不起立是对国家，军队和美国国旗的不尊重。但是在美联社的调查中，大部人人不赞同特朗普总统解雇拒绝起立的NFL队员的做法。

Americans disapprove of the protests by a 52 to 31 percent margin⁴. But the numbers are nearly identical when it comes to the President saying team owners should fire the protesting players with 55 percent disagreeing with Trump.

美国人以52%比31%的投票不认同队员们的做法。但是总统称队长应该解雇抗议的队员这个做法，55%的人不支持特朗普总统。

After the President made his comments two weeks ago, hundreds of players took a knee, whereas before it had only been a handful.

两周前特朗普总统发表讲话之后，数百名队员单膝跪地表示抗议，以前只有少数人这样做。
